Why a virtual currency balance appears under the player profile picture

The amount shown below the player profile picture in the top-right corner of the hub is the player's balance for a configured virtual currency, such as Diamonds.

Why it appears

If you configure a virtual currency in SKU Management > Virtual currencies, the hub automatically starts showing that currency balance on the player's profile.

What a zero balance means

If the balance shows 0, it means that player has not earned any of that virtual currency yet.

Does Draft status prevent display or accrual?

No. A virtual currency can still be displayed in the player profile and continue accruing for players even if its status shows Draft in the dashboard. Draft status indicates the setup is not fully published, but it does not by itself stop the balance from appearing or being accrued.

When can players spend it?

If Purchase rewards is enabled, players can also spend that virtual currency on items priced in that currency.

How to fully disable it

To stop both accrual and display of the virtual currency in the player profile, archive the virtual currency.
