How to test payments and daily rewards in Sandbox

Use Sandbox mode to safely test checkout and daily rewards without affecting your live Hub.

Before you start

Do not use your production Hub for testing. Payments and reward claims made there are live.

To switch to Sandbox:

  1. Open the Aghanim Dashboard.

  2. Turn on the Sandbox toggle in the top-right corner.

  3. Confirm you see the orange Sandbox banner across the top of the page.

Once Sandbox is enabled, you can open your Sandbox Hub by either:

  • Clicking the eye icon next to Products: Game Hub Builder in the dashboard, or

  • Opening Game Hub Builder and clicking View your Game Hub.

Testing payments in Sandbox

You can run the full checkout flow in Sandbox without moving real money.

  1. Open your Sandbox Hub.

  2. Select an item and proceed through checkout.

  3. Use one of the supported test cards from the test payments documentation: https://docs.aghanim.com/checkout/test-payments.

After a successful test transaction, you should see:

  • A receipt sent to the email entered at checkout

  • A webhook event sent to your configured webhook URL

  • A transaction record in Aghanim Dashboard > Transactions

Testing the Hub as a different player

If you want to test from another player's perspective:

  1. Go to Game > Players.

  2. Select a player account.

  3. Click the three-dot menu next to the player.

  4. Choose Log into Hub.

Testing daily rewards in Sandbox

Daily rewards can only be claimed sequentially, one reward per day. To test the flow more quickly, you can fast-forward a player's progress.

  1. From the player's profile, click the three-dot menu and choose Log into Hub.

  2. In the Hub, claim the currently available daily reward.

  3. Return to the dashboard and reopen the same player's profile.

  4. Scroll to the Daily Rewards section.

  5. Click Move Visits and enter any number greater than 1.

  6. Go back to the Hub and refresh the page.

The next reward should now be unlocked. Repeat these steps to simulate the full reward sequence.

Important

If you are testing via a direct Hub URL, make sure it is your Sandbox Hub URL, not your production Hub URL.
