How to transition from one Loyalty Program to the next without downtime

If you want one Loyalty Program to run for its full duration and have the next program begin immediately after, configure the new program so its start time matches the end time of the current program.

Recommended setup

1. Check the exact end date and time of the current Loyalty Program in production.
2. Create the new Loyalty Program in advance.
3. Set the new program's scheduled start time to the same timestamp as the current program's end time.
4. Transfer the new program to production ahead of time so it is already in place before the handoff.

This allows the current program to run as long as scheduled, while the next program starts at the planned transition time.

Can multiple programs run at the same time?

Yes. Multiple programs can run simultaneously, depending on the program types you are using.

Examples include:

• Loyalty Program + Progression Program
• Personal Loyalty Program + Clan Loyalty Program

This means you do not always need to wait for one program type to finish before another compatible program is live.

Best practice

Prepare and validate the next program in Sandbox first, then move it to production before the current program ends. This reduces the risk of gaps between programs and makes the switchover smoother.
