Bulk upload Game Hub translations and what the localization fields mean

You can bulk-upload Game Hub translations using an Excel sheet instead of editing each string one by one in the Localization tab.

Bulk upload process

  1. Fill in the translation template with your default-language text and translated text.

  2. Send the completed file to our team.

  3. We will upload the translations on our side.

This is the recommended workflow when you need to add a large number of translations, such as English and Korean versions of your Game Hub content.

Does the Localization tab cover all user-facing text?

Yes. The Localization tab is intended to cover all user-facing strings shown on the Game Hub.

One exception to keep in mind: if a banner contains text baked directly into the image, that text is not translated through the string list. In that case, you should upload localized versions of the banner image so the correct image can be shown when a user switches languages.

What do these columns mean?

  • key — the identifier for the string. In some import formats, this can also be the text in your default language.

  • object_type — the type of object the text belongs to.

  • object_property — the field name from the API, such as name or description.

If you need to identify the right object_property values, an easy way is to export the relevant objects from the dashboard. For example, in SKU Management → Items, exporting your items will show the available fields and related values that can be used in the translation template.

Alternative import format

You can also prepare translations in a format where:

  • the key column contains the text in your default language, and

  • additional columns contain translations for each target language.

For this approach to work, the default-language text must already exist in the system. Once it exists, translations for the other languages can be matched and applied automatically.

Notes

  • If you are unsure which template to use, make sure you are using the one for the Translations section rather than a glossary template.

  • After upload, review the Game Hub to confirm that provided translations were applied consistently across all places where the text appears.
