Subscription pop-up vs native Direct Checkout pop-up

Aghanim has two separate subscription purchase surfaces that serve different purposes:

• Aghanim Subscription Pop-Up: shown on the Game Hub when a player selects a subscription there.
• Native in-game Direct Checkout pop-up: the native checkout flow shown inside the game.

When the Aghanim Subscription Pop-Up is used

The Aghanim Subscription Pop-Up is triggered on the Game Hub when a player chooses a subscription product. It is not the same UI as the native in-game Direct Checkout pop-up.

What it is for

This Game Hub subscription pop-up lets you configure how the subscription is presented before the player proceeds to checkout, including details such as:

• Description
• Terms
• Product image
• Other subscription presentation content

Is it required?

Yes, if you also want to sell subscriptions through the Game Hub. In that case, the pop-up is required so the subscription can be presented properly before checkout.

No, it is not a replacement for the native in-game Direct Checkout pop-up. These are separate flows.

Compatibility with native checkout

The Game Hub subscription pop-up and the native in-game Direct Checkout pop-up are separate experiences. Configure the Game Hub subscription pop-up for Game Hub purchases, and use the native Direct Checkout flow for in-game purchases.
