Why historical sales can appear under a bundle's current name after the bundle is renamed

If a recurring bundle is reused each month and only its display name is changed, dashboard reports may show historical sales under the bundle's current name rather than the name it had at the time of purchase.

What this means

• A monthly filter can still be showing the correct transactions for that month.
• However, the item name shown in the report may reflect the bundle's latest renamed title.
• For example, sales from May can appear under the June bundle name if the same underlying bundle was renamed at the start of June.

Example

A recurring monthly bundle may be renamed over time, such as:

• March: Fortune's Bloom
• April: Fortune's Reign
• May: Fortune's Garden
• June: Fortune's Oasis

In this case, sales made on May 1–9 are still real May sales, but the dashboard may now label them with the current June name, Fortune's Oasis, because that is the bundle's current display name.

How to interpret the report

• Trust the sale date and date filter for when the transaction happened.
• Be aware that the displayed item name may not be historically frozen if the same bundle/SKU was later renamed.
• If month-specific naming matters for reporting, review the underlying bundle setup and naming strategy with the team.
