Why “Add game” opens an existing game instead of creating a new project
If clicking Add game redirects you to an existing game page instead of creating a new project, this is expected behavior for games that are already launched.
What changed
Aghanim no longer allows creating duplicate dashboards for already launched games through the self-service Add game flow.
What to do instead
- If you need one more isolated setup for the same game, contact support and describe what you need.
- If your goal is to separate development, testing, and production setups, ask for environments to be configured for the game instead of creating another duplicate project.
About environments
Aghanim can support full environments for a game, not only sandbox mode. This is the preferred approach when you need multiple setups for the same title.
Keep in mind that existing standalone games are not automatically moved into another game’s environments. At the moment, there is no self-service tool to migrate separately configured games into environments, so this may require manual help from the Aghanim team.
If you already have many game entries
Support may need time to review your current company setup before reorganizing existing games into environments. If you need to proceed quickly, the team can create an additional game entry first and help with environment setup afterward.
