Nigeria payment method availability and integration status

Current confirmed payment method availability for Nigeria:

• Google Pay
• Bank Card
• Razer Gold
• Bank Transfers
• USSD

Paga is not confirmed as a live standalone payment method at this time. The team indicated that what is referred to as Paga may map to NIBSS (Nigeria's instant bank transfer rails), and NIBSS was still in the onboarding process at the time of the latest update.

Status notes

• Initial confirmation included Google Pay, Bank Card, and Razer Gold in Nigeria.
• Bank Transfers and USSD were later enabled for Nigeria.
• USSD was described as having strong coverage in Nigeria.
• NIBSS remained at the onboarding stage.
• Integration work for the missing NIBSS/Paga-equivalent method depends partly on the external partner onboarding timeline.

For discussions about switching Nigeria traffic, treat Bank Transfers and USSD as already available. Treat Paga / NIBSS-equivalent coverage as pending until onboarding is completed and explicitly confirmed live.
