How player avatars are assigned and how to disable avatar changes

When a player registers in the hub, Aghanim automatically assigns a random avatar from the set currently available in the Player avatars dashboard section. That avatar is then saved for that player.

Updating the avatar set

If you upload a new set of preset avatars, no extra configuration is required for randomization. New players will automatically be assigned a random avatar from the new set when they register.

Important: changing the preset avatar set does not reassign avatars for players who already registered. Existing players keep the avatar they were originally given.

How to disable avatar changing

If you want to prevent players from changing to preset hub avatars, remove all preset avatars in the dashboard under Player avatars.

With no preset avatars available, avatar swapping in the hub is disabled.
