How to give a user access to the T1 testing environment

When someone needs to test flows on the T1 environment, the setup should be handled on T1 rather than through a separate special build.

Process

1. Coordinate when the webshop or other required setup should be built on T1 and how long it needs to stay available for testing.
2. Ask the tester to create an account on the Testing environment by selecting it from the environment dropdown in the launcher.
3. After the account is created and confirmed, grant the account the required access rights manually.

Important note

If the tester creates the account successfully but sees the message "You do not have access" when logging in, this means the account exists but still needs the appropriate rights assigned.

What information to collect

• If the user is testing through Steam, collect their Steam ID.
• If the user is testing through the standalone/client flow, collect the email address used for the Testing environment account.

Troubleshooting

If login or webhook-related tests fail on the Testing environment with errors such as 404 Not Found or 405 Method Not Allowed, verify which build is currently deployed there. A different build on the Testing environment can temporarily break the expected testing flow even when account access has already been granted.

Expected result

Once the account has been granted the required rights, the tester should be able to log in to the Testing environment and proceed with T1 testing.
