Samsung Internet dark mode can make the web store look washed out

If players report that the web store looks low quality on Samsung devices, with washed out colors, desaturated images, or text artifacting, the issue may be caused by Samsung Internet rather than by the store itself.

Cause

Samsung Internet can apply Force dark mode for web content when Android dark mode is enabled. In that mode, the browser re-colors pages after they load. This can affect many websites, including the web store, and it cannot be overridden from the site side.

What players can do

• Turn off Force dark mode for web content in Samsung Internet settings.
• Open the Samsung Internet menu and choose Light sites.
• Open the store in Chrome instead.

Any of these options should restore the normal colors immediately.

This is not specific to one game or one store page. It is a browser-side behavior that can affect Samsung Internet users who have dark mode enabled.

Notes for support

• If a report mentions an S24 Ultra or another Samsung device using the default browser, check whether the player is using Samsung Internet in dark mode.
• Do not describe the issue as a store rendering bug unless there is evidence it also happens outside Samsung Internet.
• Samsung Internet represented about 10% of store users in one reviewed 28-day sample, but that number is only the browser share, not the confirmed affected share.
